Project Details
The 5,200 square foot ranch style house was originally designed by prominent Californian architect, William Wurster. To adapt the adobe and wood structure to the client's young family, an existing breezeway was enclosed to create a series of spaces including a Kitchen, Family Room and Breakfast Area. The existing white walls and vaulted wood ceilings were complimented by a playful layering of terrazzo, steel, concrete, color and geometric patterns. In addition to the Main House renovation, the project included a new Barn, Pool House, pool and sports facility.
