Project Details
Situated on a knoll on the slope of Mt. Tamalpais, the house was sited to capture the expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Loosely inspired by Mid-Century Modern style, with low sloped roof forms and deep projecting porches, expansive steel doors pocket into the walls creating a seamless transition between the interiors and landscape terraced gardens. The interiors are an artful composition of stained white oak paneling and beams with plaster and stone mixed in. Blacken steel accents appear in shelving, counters and railing details throughout.
